This small Coop was founded in 1967 and received Organic Certification in 2005. All members are from the indigenous Mayan group Jalcaltec, also called Popti. In 2006, we imported their first ever Fair Trade Organic harvest. It continues to be our top Guatemala coffee each year! With notes of black cherry and baking spices, this coffee is a great representation of the high quality coffee that Guatemala is known for.

To ensure you receive the freshest Organic Whole Bean coffee possible, all orders must be placed by or before 8:00pm MST (Mountain Time) on SUNDAYS in order to guarantee your spot on the fresh roast list that week. 

Our roasting partners, CONSCIOUS COFFEES (Boulder, CO), freshly roast their coffee beans on Mondays and Tuesdays of EVERY WEEK. Submitting your order by the Sunday deadline guarantees it is included in that week’s roast schedule. We ship freshly roasted coffee out of our climate controlled distribution center in Denver, CO every week to ensure the highest quality experience possible!
